Azareiya is eco village with six wooden houses for guests. The village is open for its guests all the seasons.
We and team of architects created a new type of ecological buildings, where the newest building technologies are combines with scientifically proved theories for ecological and healthy lifestyle. We propose you a brand new philosophical concept, a brand new type of buildings, which have unique form and construction and used materials.
Ecoengenering – S LTD builds the ecological village Azareiya in the center of Stara planina mountain close to Troyan, Chiflika and Shipokovo, places with termal springs. The village consists of 6 wooden round small houses with conic form. The houses are built in a circle around a wooden pyramid. Entrances of the houses are toward South and the beautiful mountain scenery. The total built square metres are 60.
There is an outstanding unique landshaft project, esepecially created that looks like a colourful mandala.
In the language of the ancient Thracians Azareiya is the name of the Big dipper constellation. The land where the eco village is built has absolutely the same shape as the constellation. the According to the Greek mythology Zeus (the king of the gods) lusts after a young woman named Callisto, a nymph of Artemis. Hera, Zeus' jealous wife, transforms the beautiful Callisto into a bear. Callisto, while in bear form, later encounters her son Arcas. Arcas almost shoots the bear, but to avert the tragedy, Zeus turns them into bears and puts them in the sky, forming Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. Callisto is Ursa Major and her son, Arcas is Ursa Minor. In ancient times the name of the constellation was Helike, ("turning"), because it turns around the Pole.

What is the "ecological" in our ecohouses?
We have escaped from the concrete prisons, which are around us in our everyday life and we try to go back to the nature.. We made the ecohouses entirely from wood. You can feel the cosy atmosphere created by the wood, whcich is the main material. The circle form of the rooms create the feeling of harmonic atmosphere. The very place of Azareiya in the heart of the Balkan mountain - Gorno Trape village is one of its main advantages. Calm, clean and almost wild area - far from the bursting city.
Our ecohouses are ecological because in them we create a harmonical and healthy environment for people who live isnside.
